NYFW is officially coming to a close.  The weather was forgiving most days and the street style was a sight to be seen everyday!  I overslept this morning and missed the Nanette Lepore show *sad face* but in this age of instant gratification, I know I can see the show online pretty much like right now *happy face*.

There is just one day left and two big shows...Ralph Lauren & Calvin Klein are showing tomorrow.  There were some pretty amazing shows this week and I will be posting my top 5 best in show, that is if I can narrow it down to 5!  Until then, you can see see images from pretty much all of the shows over at my tumblr...petite bohème.

The Fashion Era

In honor of New York's upcoming fashion week, I am posting these amazing fashion illustration cards that I found over at Dear Golden....they're like flashcards for adults!  Adults who eat, sleep and breathe fashion that is.  The illustrations are broken down by decade; oddly enough the 1940s/50s is combined.  At first view I rescanned the post at least twice asking myself where is the 1950s? Only to finally realize the artist combined the two.  In any event my favorite is of course the 1970s...it's MY decade! But coming in a close second is the 1980s...how could I not love it?!?  It's "Madonna" wearing Versace's iconic Andy Warhol dress! Love!
